How would you stop a war? Mekhail returns to his home city to find that much has changed. Instead of a functioning democracy, he discovers that his birthplace has become a police state. Military-style police are everywhere. And a fanatical group outside the city, known as Renegades, stage terror attacks that harm innocent people and, in the end, further strengthen the military's hold on the government. A hurricane descends on the city, and the Renegades use it as cover to launch an invasion. Soon, Mekhail and his friends find themselves right in the middle of the conflict.
