In ancient Israel, during the time of the Judges, a dark age has descended. The men of the twelve Hebrew tribes have abandoned their God, and have failed to stand against their enemies for years. Warlords rule the countryside, preventing safe travel, and the mighty empire of the Philistines seeks to control the homeland of Abraham's descendants.
