A collection of dark poems by award-winning author Cynthia Ruby, 3rd place winner of the 100,000 Poets for Change in Slam Poetry and winner of the Haiku contest the same year. This collection includes " Knowledge ", honorable mention in the 1994 Mojo Mystique literary magazine contest, and other pieces of dark poetry. Cynthia Ruby is an award-winner author of poetry and haiku currently living in West Texas. She placed 3rd in Slam Poetry at the 100,000 Poets for Change contest, and also won in the Haiku contest. Cynthia is a classically trained concert violinist, was a news editor and columnist for her high school newspaper, and was published in both high school and university literary magazines. She's currently at work on a screenplay as well as directing a short film. She also acted in a short film entry at the Permian Basin Horror Fest in 2015. Rubies of the Heart is her first professional publication
