After overcoming numerous obstacles, I was still empty on the inside and my life wounds were still open and painful. It wasn't until taking a private duty case to care for a gentleman that his wife asked me the question, "Do you pray?" and I realized that God had not forsaken me, but I had abandoned him. Prayers and reading the Bible became a daily part of my routine, and I started going to church faithfully. With every prayer, I received gifts from God. The darkness lifted, and the fog disappeared. My scars and bruises were healed by the grace of God. Joyfully, I found that I really liked myself and loved my Heavenly Father and Jesus for their grace and mercy. I turned my life fully over to God in 2008. This book is a result of my daily prayers and listening to God's divine guidance. When you read this book, you will feel the powerful presence of God.
