ADAM & EVE - Psychedelic Promise 1965 London Book 6 of 6: The Dawn of Us This sixth book of six is summarized as follows: Summer 1969 finds Adam and Eve reuniting unexpectedly at Woodstock, where Hendrix's revolutionary guitar anthem becomes the soundtrack to their reconciliation. After a year apart-Adam pursuing art in London, Eve expanding her feminist journalism-their separate journeys converge in the festival's muddy utopia. Through sleepless nights in cramped tents and profound conversations under Hendrix's psychedelic "Star-Spangled Banner," they rediscover each other as changed individuals. A post-festival week in New York's fermenting counterculture solidifies their new dynamic: no longer young idealists, but mature creators committed to personal and political evolution. Returning to London as the decade ends, they forge a relationship that honors both independence and connection, their love story becoming a microcosm of the era's transformation from naive idealism to grounded revolution. The series concludes not with an ending, but a dawn-the promise of continued growth as the 1970s begin. I do hope you enjoy this final instalment, and it's only $3. The initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 1/2 minutes, called Electric Pulse, and prepares you for the start, synthesizer, bass and cymbals in a soul/funk form. The closing music, called Full Motion, ends the tale on a darker tone and at about 2 minutes and the same musical instruments, genre and industrial/fearful mood but with more caution added. The book itself runs to about 30 plus minutes and is narrated in my own voice. I do hope you enjoyed this audiobook series and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come!
