A few years ago I started writing about things that has happened in my life in short story form and finally in 2013 I finished the first 24 years which was published in book form in early 2014. This writing was entitled "Patches of My Life" which was a suggestion of a sister of mine while trying to come up with a name. Although I knew I didn't have time to complete the second part of my experiences in life, I had several requests to do just that. I sat down with my computer keyboard in front of me while the TV was either on the movie channel and Samantha, my wife of 47 years, was watching a movie that I really wasn't interested in; or it was on the news channel after which all seemed to run together. You may want to call this multi-tasking, or you might have some other choice words to call it. Never-the-less I began to recall parts of my life starting in the early 60s. After several reviews of the first book, I decided to follow the same format that was used in it, being a short story form. In my first writings, I went into some detail about my days in the US Military but I left some things out for various reasons. I feel now is the time to pick up there and fill in some of the spaces before continuing on to the more adult portion of my life
