Before Jack Castle was a Private Eye, he was a Detective Inspector.It's London, 1981. Britain is in the grip of a recession and the IRA is becoming increasingly active. Detective Inspector Jack Castle of London's Metropolitan Police Robbery Squad is working with his new Sergeant, George Davis as they try and catch a cop killer who has just landed in London on a flight from Miami.To complicate matters, DI Jack Castle has been partnered with Miami Police Lieutenant John Ellis, a man with revenge on his mind. Castle, pursuing a line of his own, finds the American difficult to work with and soon the two men are engulfed in a dangerous clash of personalities. It soon becomes apparent that Lieutenant John Ellis is a man that likes to shoot first and asks questions later. Castle soon finds himself embroiled in an investigation that grows into something much more violent and sinister than he had ever envisaged
