Dok grew up in a poor section of the Terran corporate empire during the fiftieth century. At an early age he decided that he wanted to be a doctor. He worked hard at his studies so he would be able enter a medical school. In order to pay for medical school he turned to a life of crime. Once he completed his training as a doctor and opened a private practice, his past came back to haunt him. To avoid the problems he fled earth.
