Exe to Otter Through Time is a celebration of the glorious countryside and coastline from the River Exe to the River Otter, inspired by a map from the 1875 Exmouth guidebook entitled Exmouth and its Neighbourhood. Part of East Devon's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the beginning of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Jurassic Coast, this area has a timeless beauty, but has also seen much change over the last 150 years. The book focuses on some of the changes comparing images from yesteryear with modern photographs and takes you through Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton where changes are distinct, to the more preserved villages and hamlets, of Exton, Lympstone, Knowle, East Budleigh, Otterton, Colaton Raleigh, Yettington and Woodbury.
