NOTES

Growing up I faced different reactions from people because of my freckles. By some, I got teased (though one of those who teased me confessed years later that he had a crush on me. Lol! Primary School things). By others, surprise, because it was something new to them and I always got asked what they were. Then some liked them and of course haters. About a month or two ago on separate occasions, I met two different people telling me how freckle tattoos have become a thing, and that I was lucky to have such beautiful natural ones. One thing I picked up from all this is that no matter how you look or who you are, people will always react towards you based on their feelings, mindset or exposure. The trick is to love and accept who you are and own it. Otherwise, you might allow a self-loathing person to make you feel less of yourself. Mutinta M.J Haandili AKA, is a Zambian Author of mixed race. Single mom. She is also the Author of When you introduce yourself to yourself and what my freckles taught me
