With the last war in the past and peace established, new norms are found but tensions remain. During the celebrations for the god and goddess of magic villages come together and put aside the past to appreciate the seasons and the gifts from their deities. Strange happenings follow various celebrations with disappearing runes, distorted memories of events, and unexplained emotional shifts. The young pair Cerise Quinn and Alistair Byrne are at the center of the mysteries acting as future leaders for their villages and the ones the strange events always involve
