Tips and tricks

You can use two 6-inch dies at the same time in the GO! Big Electric Fabric Cutter.

Be sure you’re cutting on the lengthwise grain as the fabric goes through the cutter so that the fabric does not stretch and cause inaccurate cuts.

Precut your fabric into strips that are approximately 1/2-inch wider than the shape you want to cut. These strips can then be layered or fan-folded to cut multiple shapes in one pass.

When laying your fabric on the die, only place it right over the shapes you wish to cut to save fabric.

Test cut your fabric first and begin with fewer layers and build up.

To clear a die jam, push the power button once to turn off the cutter. Push it again to turn it on in manual reverse mode. Press and hold the power button to reverse the rollers and clear the die jam. Once the die is removed, the red light will start flashing. Turn the cutter off and then it is ready to use again.
