Digitization Machine Options

8 Tape Video Conversion Kit

What can we convert?

  • 8mm Tapes
  • Hi 8 Tapes

The process is done in real time. (This means if it is a 2 hour long video tape of a wedding, you will have to sit and watch the whole 2 hours)

What Should I bring with me?

  • Your tapes
  • A thumb drive or DVD to save the files onto (we also sell them at the circulation desk). 

VHS/MiniDV Player Conversion Kit

What can we convert?

  • VHS
  • VHS-C
  • MINI-DV

The process is done in real time. (This means if it is a 2 hour long video tape of a wedding, you will have to sit and watch the whole 2 hours)

Batch Slide Scanner Kit

What can we convert?

  • 35mm slides
  • It takes about 5 seconds for a slide to be scanned.

What Should I bring with me?

  • 35mm slides
  • If you have a kodak carousel that can fit 80 slides, you can fill that up prior to the meeting.
  • A thumb drive or DVD to save the files onto (we also sell them at the circulation desk). 

Is a Backup Provided?

If you want to back up your data aver converting your media, we also offer the following media storage devices to be purchased.

  • Flash Drives, CD’s and DVD’s can be purchased for the following prices:
  • Flash Drives - $6.60 -32 Gigabytes
  • DVD - .75 cents – 4.7 Gigabytes
  • CD - .75 cents - 80 minutes of recording time
