Comix Revolution has proudly served the Arlington Heights community since 1996. Located in Mount Prospect, the store carries a wide selection of comics and graphic novels from DC, Marvel, Image and Dark Horse to a variety of independent publishers.

Don Cardenas


Don is the artist/co-creator of the vampires-meets-metal comic Evie and the Helsings, artist of the horror series Pater Familia written by Grant Stoye, and is the host of the Comics-Coffee-Metal podcast. Don's work has been also seen in Spend the Night, written by Cult Horror DIrector Jackie Kong. Also in numerous anthologies (Bandthology, Housebound, This Nightmare Kills Fascists, Nightmare Theater) and the creator owned graphic novel Packs Of The Lowcountry. He resides in Northern Illinois with his wife, children, and many, many guitars.

Steph Stanga is an Illustrator who currently dwells in Chicago, IL with her husband and two cats. She has been drawing since she was a baby, and just never stopped drawing dinosaurs and unicorns. As an adult she went to art school; learning the basics of figure drawing and then digital painting and even animation! Now, she travels around the country sharing her work with fans and vending at various events.
Steph is inspired by nature, animals, animated movies and the fantasy genre overall. Her favorite subjects to draw are weird, “ugly” things, or creatures that just need some extra love. She loves sharing useless fun facts about lesser known animals!
