Discover the beauty of the world around us with our Back to Nature BINGO, join us for a Movie in the Park or enjoy stories and songs at our weekly Storytimes in the Park. Plus our StoryWalk® series continues with a new story each month for you to enjoy as you take a stroll around beautiful Lake Arlington.
Let's Go on a StoryWalk®
Join us at Lake Arlington, 2201 N. Windsor Drive. Go for a walk and read a children's story, posted page by page on easy-to-follow signs, as you enjoy the great outdoors. Presented in partnership with Arlington Heights Park District. No registration required; just drop by and enjoy the following:

Back to Nature BINGO
June-August / Kids' World Desk
Venture outside with the whole family and enjoy the beauty of the world around us. Enjoy the great outdoors while sneaking in some great books along the way. Stop by the Kids' World Desk this summer to pick up your BINGO card. Complete the activity and receive a fantastic prize for your family and enter a raffle for an additional family gift.
Storytime in the Park
Drop by for a 20-minute storytime and stay for an activity presented by teens in our Summer Volunteer Squad and browse the bookmobile. Bookmobile stops from 11 a.m.-noon. Storytime begins at 11:15 a.m. Safety precautions in place according to current, local mitigation guidelines. Presented in partnership with Arlington Heights Park District. No registration required; just drop by.

Wednesdays, Frontier Park, in the northwest corner of the parking lot

In case of inclement weather, in June and July storytime will be canceled; the bookmobile will still be available. In August, storytime and the bookmobile visit will be canceled in the event of weather.
Movie in the Park
Watch movies under the stars with your family at Recreation Park, 500 East Miner Street. Bring your own blankets, chairs and favorite movie snacks. Safety precautions in place according to current, local mitigation guidelines. Presented in partnership with Arlington Heights Park District.
