Arlington Heights Farmers Market (Vail Ave. and Fremont St.)

Save the date for the Friends of the Library's first Passport to Fun fundraiser and friendraiser! Join the Friends on a fun, family adventure as you explore the neighborhood around the library, visit activity booths, shop at the children's market book sale in the library's garage and collect stamps on your passport.

What can I expect?

• If you register early, you can pick up your passport at the registration booth at the Farmers Market. If you're registering on the day of, you can pay your registration fee and pick up your passport at the registration booth. If you're not already a member of the Friends of the Library, your registration will double as a membership. 
• You'll be given information about the first stop along the route after you pick up your passport. 
• The passport will contain a map of the route, which is approximately 1.5 miles. There are six stops along the route, and it will end at the children's market sale in the library's parking garage. 
• There will be a family-friendly activity to complete at each stop along the route. Once you complete the activity, you'll receive a stamp in your passport and the location of the next stop.
• Once you have all the stamps, you'll receive a coupon for $1 off a purchase at the children's market sale (the equivalent of two regularly-priced children's books!) and an opportunity to win a prize in our raffle.

Passport to Fun will be held rain or shine. In case of severe weather, this activity may be canceled, shortened, or portions may be moved to the library parking garage. Refunds will not be issued based on weather.
