Event Description

Join us for the second installment in our series about important historical locations in Arlington Heights: To continue the series, we will be discussing the various iterations of railroad access to Arlington Heights, starting with the northwest line of the Illinois and Wisconsin Railroad that William Dunton brought to town in 1853, to the modern metra line bringing commuters to and from Chicago. Local history and genealogy librarian Eddie Kristan will present the history of of Arlington Heights by rail with supporting material from local historians and stakeholders.
