Event Description

Stitching on plastic canvas is a hybrid of cross stitching and embroidery using a plastic grid instead of fabric. Using a piece of plastic canvas, yarn and a yarn needle you can create a variety of different items from tissue box covers to coasters and place mats. In this class you will learn basic stitches to create beautiful designs and leave with a handmade key chain.

This program is designed for ages 18 and up.

This program takes place at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library Makerplace located at 112 N. Belmont Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. For parking information, please check our website at http://www.ahml.info/makerplace.
