Join the Makerplace's own Chef Brian as we dig into the quintessential American art of BBQ. In this class, participants will learn what goes into mouth-watering rubs and how to craft homemade sauces, as well get an overview of essential tools and equipment. From dissecting fuel types to mastering the delicate balance of times, temperatures, and the science behind achieving that perfect smoke ring, Chef Brian will leave you equipped with the knowledge and skills to elevate your BBQ game. Get ready to ignite your passion for the grill and impress your guests with unforgettable flavors!

Space is limited. Culinary classes are designed for adults 18+ and limited to one class per month, per Arlington Heights cardholder. Join the lottery from 9 a.m. July 2 to 8:59 a.m. July 3 for a chance to attend BBQ Essentials. Individuals will be chosen at random and notified by email July 3.
