Event Description

Intimidated by making your own sushi? Learn how to make basic sushi with accessible ingredients in this class led by chef Jen Paleracio. For this hands-on class, we will be using cooked ingredients - no raw fish!

As a Community Education Culinary Instructor, Jen Paleracio's passion is making everyday cooking flavorful, simple, and with no artificial ingredients. Raised by her grandparents, Jen experimented early with garden-to-table ingredients and firmly believes that cooking is a skill that we cultivate, pay attention to, and willingly give our time to satisfy our palate. It's an appreciation for taste and flavor.

Space is limited. This class is designed for adults 18+. Culinary classes are limited to one class per month, per Arlington Heights cardholder. Register any time from noon June 2 to 11:59 a.m. June 3 to join the lottery for a chance to attend. Individuals will be chosen at random and notified June 3.

We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. To request an accommodation, please call 847.392.0100, text 847.665.1491 or email us at accessibility@ahml.info
