A volunteer from SCORE North Chicago and Lake Counties will be at the library to answer questions about your entrepreneurial endeavors and provide information about SCORE resources for start-ups, small business owners and nonprofit professionals. Mark Porwit, SCORE Business Mentor and the Arlington Heights SCORE Branch Manager, will be available to offer advice and answer your business questions. He is a civic minded business professional that offers proven success in growing revenue and profit. His broad work experience includes: Strategic Planning, Market Analysis and Research, Product Management, New Product Development, Marketing, Business Development, Sales, Supply Chain, Project Management, P&L, and Sustainability. Mark has worked for a variety of companies from startups to multi-billion-dollar international companies and has been on the executive team of a half a billion-dollar company. He especially enjoys collaborating with others to solve complex business problems.
