Event Description

Bad Art Night returns and this time, we're going back...to the 80s! Join us on Zoom for a fun Friday night filled with hits from the 1980s and some truly weird art, made by all of you! The weirder, the better. We encourage you to use what you have at home, though we'll also be offering Take & Make kits you can pick up from the library to help you out. 80s attire and shoulder-pads not required but are very welcome.

As we're staying remote with our programs, this will look a little different than previous Bad Art Nights. How this will work:

1) Register yourself for the program via our website (yep, hit the button below! Need only one register once per device which will be logging in).

2) You'll receive directions to pick up your mystery bag of supplies - they will be available starting September 4 (at 11am) on a first-come first-serve basis, limited to 1 per person, while supplies last. These will have oddball supplies in them, though we encourage you to embellish with what you have at home.

3) Make your 80s-tastic art, share it on Instagram, Facebook, and wherever else you fancy with the hashtag #BadArtNightAHML.

4) Join the program and show off your masterpiece! We'll have a poll to vote on whose art is Truly Bad, as well as some runners-up: Kitchen Sink, and Too Pretty. The folks with the most amount of votes in each category will get a small prize!

Must register to participate in this live, online event. You will receive the Zoom link to participate one day prior to the program.
