Event Description

Toni Morrison called Ta-Nehisi Coates’s Between the World and Me “required reading” and “as profound as it is revelatory.” Join us in reading and discussing this unforgiving meditation, written in the form of a letter from a father to his son, on the illusory nature of the American dream and the devastating realities of being Black in America. Moderated discussion will include exploration of antiracism resources.

Books are available at the Info Desk, or call 847-392-0100 to reserve a copy for pickup.

Must register to participate in this live, online event. It will take place on Zoom and you will receive a link to participate by email one day prior to the event.
