Read The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise and join us for a very special online discussion when we will be joined by the author of the book, Dan Gemeinhart! Coyote and her dad, Rodeo, have spent the last 5 years traveling America in a school bus that they’ve turned into their home on wheels. Suddenly though, Coyote needs to get back to their hometown, the only place Rodeo refuses to go, to retrieve something precious to her.  

Registration required. Starting November 1, request to pick up a copy of the book along with the supplies you’ll need for the program. Email kids@ahml.info or call us at 847-392-0100 and we will place the items at the library's drive-up window or on the bookmobile.

Can't make it to the library to pick up supplies? You can also use your own supplies from home. Here's what you'll need:

• A container (we'll using shoe boxes, but you can use whatever container you have)
• Washi tape or other decorative tape
• Stickers
• Permanent markers
• Personal items (photos, birthday cards, ticket stubs, letters, etc.)
• Printouts from this website
