Event Description

This event has passed. View the recording on our YouTube channel.

Art and alcohol historian Lucas Livingston leads a lively presentation about the artistry and history of drinking culture around the world and across the centuries. We explore ancient drinking games, psychology of intoxication, and curious customs, whose uncanny origins may have left their mark on modern times. Raise a glass to the original oenophiles and bygone beer snobs as we consider how today's potent potables and drinking customs compare to those of ancient gods and divine emperors.

If you would like to sip along, Lucas has provided a suggested list to accompany the themes of this presentation. These sips are available for purchase at Beer on the Wall as both a four-pack and individually. Purchase is not necessary to register or participate in the program.

Must register to participate in this live, online event. You will receive a link to participate by email one day prior to the event.
