Event Description

Calling all music lovers! Join us for 33 1/3: Classic Albums - a new series celebrating our love of the perfect album. 33 1/3 is a series of short books about popular music, each focusing on an iconic individual album that occupies a specific place in music history. Meet the authors who took on these seminal records and bring your questions.

Author Loren Glass discusses his new book on the enduring legacy of Carole King’s Tapestry. Celebrating a 50th Anniversary this year, Tapestry, released in February 1971, retains its lasting influence, selling over 25 million copies, sweeping the 1972 Grammy’s, and ranked No. 25 on Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
