Join us for a new literary event that brings readers together to meet and celebrate beloved Illinois authors. Our featured authors include:

  • Elizabeth Berg, New York Times bestselling author of eighteen novels, including Open House, an Oprah's Book Club selection in 2000. She will talk about her beloved Mason series: The Story of Arthur Truluv, Night of Miracles, The Confession Club, and writing the upcoming prequel.

  • Lisa Barr, New York Times bestselling author of Woman on Fire, The Unbreakables and the historic thriller Fugutive Colors will talk about her newest novel, recently optioned for film by Sharon Stone!

  • Jon Seidel, federal courts reporter for the Chicago Sun Times and true crime author will talk about his book, Second City Sinners.

  • Mia P. Manansala, award winning mystery/thriller author who uses humor (and murder) to explore aspects of the Filipino diaspora, queerness, and her millennial love for pop culture. She will talk about her Tita Rosie's Kitchen Mystery series: Arsenic and Adobo and Homicide and Halo-Halo

Each author will be featured at a downtown Arlington Heights venue: Peggy Kinnane's, Hey Nonny, Arlington Ale House and La Tasca. Hear about their novels and writing, grab a drink and mingle with other literary lovers as you stroll from location to location. The event will culminate in a book signing at Arlington Ale House with books available for sale courtesy The Book Stall.
