Mar Caribe is an all-instrumental band from Chicago performing originals that blend spaghetti-western, surf, and country as well as a wide range of covers. Begun as a duo in 2006 by two friends who loved the Ventures, Dick Dale, and Leo Kottke, the group has since grown to a seven-piece lineup featuring three horns, banjo, and pedal steel.
