Roya Naldi is a jazz singer and bandleader who specializes in vintage jazz of the 1920s and '30s. She is one of the foremost vintage jazz singers in Chicago and was recently featured at the Chicago Jazz Festival in Millennium Park. The Chicago Reader has reviewed Roya Naldi, saying, "Roya Naldi sings century-old jazz with the directness and sparing vibrato of a 1920s chanteuse—she and her band sound like an old 78 with the static cleaned up.
