A Class about Tea being taught in the Makerplace Kitchen.

 

Chop, mix and learn about cooking in the Makerplace's commercial-grade kitchen space. This unique room at the Makerplace includes a commercial-grade stove and double oven, blast chiller, refrigerator, dishwasher, mixers and a three-compartment sink. Available kitchen equipment and tools include:
 

  • (1) 8-Burner gas cook top, (5) Induction cook tops 
  • Double convection oven 
  • (1) Large stand mixer, (5) Tabletop stand mixers 
  • Robot Coupe food processor with grating attachments 
  • Blast chiller, Cooling paddle

  • Dishwasher 
  • Reach-in coolers and freezer 
  • Cookware – Standard saucepans (1 and 2.75 qt.), Sauté pans, Stock pots, Nonstick sauté pans 
  • Mixing bowls, Bus tubs, Cambro food storage containers 
  • Dry and liquid measuring cups, Measuring spoons, Thermometers 
  • Knives – Chef knives, Paring knives, Cleaver, Bread knife, Mandolin, Cutting boards 
  • Cooking utensils – Tongs, turners, ladles, spatulas, whisks, colanders, strainers, microplane grater, cheese grater, skimmer 
  • Baking accessories – Cake pans, pie pans, sifter, rolling pins, bench scrapers, bowl scrapers, silicone pastry mat, cake stand, cake lifter, decorating combs, pastry tips, pastry cutter, pastry brushes, pie/cake markers 
  • Free of charge disposables – Hairnets, beard covers, gloves, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, parchment paper, food product date labels 
  • Cleaning supplies
