Event Description

Shodo, or "the way of writing," is the art of Japanese calligraphy, an elegant way of writing the Japanese language using brush and ink. Join Mieko Fujii Sensei, an instructor from the Japanese Culture Center in Chicago, as she leads a lesson in this artistic and meditative facet of Japanese culture.

NOTE: The ink used during this program will stain clothing, so come dressed for mess!
