Event Description

Drop in and join us for a free screening of The King's Speech (2010), 118 minutes, rated R, starring Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush, and Helena Bonham Carter.

The story of King George VI, his unexpected ascension to the throne of the British Empire in 1936, and the speech therapist who helped him overcome his stammer.

A discussion led by library staff immediately follows the film.

This program is held in person at the Senior Center.
