Event Description

Join us to discuss The Heaven & Earth Grocery Store by James McBride. McBride's tale of Black and Jewish Americans uniting against prejudice in the 1930s is an uplifting story of kindness and community. A unique blend of literary fiction, historical fiction, and mystery, The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store is a testament to a time when communities came together, helped each other, and cared about their neighbors.

Come by the Info Desk to pick up copy of the book or call us at 847-392-0100 to reserve a copy to pick up.

Books are also available as an ebook and eaudiobook on cloudLibrary.
