Event Description

In Native American communities people tell stories to recount the history of their people through legends, folktales, and fables. These stories are told to bond the community together with their shared spirituality and identity by relating cultural morals and values. Storytelling helps explain the supernatural as well as the intricacies of connectedness between humans, animals, and the environment. Join us for this unique presentation by Trickster Cultural Center and learn about traditional Potawatomi tales that focus on the fall and harvest time.

This program is presented as part of One Book, One Village.
